Given

C1's rate = 1/10 per day, C2's rate = 1/12 per day, C3's rate = 1/15 per day

Formula:

Total time = total work/combined rate of work

Solution:

⇒ The combined rate of C1, C2, and C3 = 1/10 + 1/12 + 1/15 = 1/4 per day

⇒ Since C2 left 2 days earlier, the work done in those 2 days = 2 (1/10 + 1/15) = 1/3

⇒ Remaining work = 1 - 1/3 = 2/3

⇒ Time to complete the remaining work = 2/3 / 1/4 = 8/3 days

⇒ Total time = 2 + 8/3 = 14/3 days

Therefore, the work was completed in (14/3) days.
