The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC CPO 2025 Notification in its latest exam calendar. As per the schedule, the SSC CPO 2025 application form will be available from 16th June 2025 to 7th July 2025. Candidates interested in the Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces can apply online within these dates. The SSC CPO 2025 Paper 1 exam will be conducted from 1st September to 6th September 2025, as per the official notice. The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in Paper I, Physical Test, Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination. The SSC CPO Age Limit is 20-25 years. The total marks for SSC CPO Exam Paper 2 will be 200.

The SSC CPO application form must be submitted online only through the official website of SSC. The steps to apply for the recruitment are explained below for your reference.
Viist the website of Staff Selection Commission. Click on the 'Apply' tab. Click the link to apply for SSC CPO Recruitment. Click on 'New Registration.'. Enter the required details and register yourself.
Login using the credentials provided during registration. Fill out the SSC CPO application form carefully and correctly.
Upload your recent photograph and signature according to the prescribed format.
Pay the required application fee as per your category. Then submit the online application. Download and save a copy of the same for your reference.

The Paper I comprises objective-type questions for 200 marks. Candidates need to qualify this stage to be eligible for further selection.
The Physical Test comprises the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standards Test (PST). This is a qualifying stage. During the PST, physical parameters such as height, weight, etc., of the candidates will be measured.As part of the PET, candidates will be assessed for physical efficiency based on activities like race, long jump, high jump, etc. Details of the same are given below.

Candidates who qualify the PET and PST will be eligible for Paper II. It is an objective-type exam for 200 marks. It assesses the candidate's knowledge of English language & Comprehension.
This is the last stage of the selection process. Before final appointment, candidates have to undergo a detailed medical examination to ensure their physical and mental fitness for this post.

The SSC CPO Syllabus is different for Paper I and Paper II exams. For Paper i, the syllabus includes topics from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English COmprehension. For Paper II, the syllabus only has topics related to ENglish Language & Comprehension.
The SSC CPO Salary is drawn as per Level 6 of the 7th CPC. The salary varies for Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (Male/ Female) and CAPF is in the pay scale of Rs. 35400-112400. The pay scale for Assistant Sub-Inspector(ASI) in CISF is Rs. 29200-9230.
