FCI Stenographer Exam Pattern and Selection Process 2024

Candidates must go through the FCI Stenographer Exam Pattern and Selection Process before starting the preparation for the written exam. The candidates will be selected for the post based on their marks obtained in the Written Exam followed by Skill Test and Document Verification round. FCI Stenographer Exam Pattern for Online Exam

Phase 1:

• The online exam comprises Objective type multiple-choice questions.
• There shall be 100 questions, and each question carries 1 mark.
• There shall be a negative marking of 1/4th for every incorrect answer, and no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
• The written exam shall be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi except for language papers
• It is a qualifying exam with an exam duration of 60 min and the marks obtained will not be counted while preparing the final merit list.
   

Phase 2 Exam

• There shall be 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark in Phase II exam.
• The exam duration shall be 90 minutes. 
• Online Test will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi except for language papers
• There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer. No negative marking for unattempted questions. 
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the phase 2 exam along with the qualifying skill test.
