Candidates must have a 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university, along with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer. Applicants must be Indian nationals, and they can apply until they exceed the maximum eligible age.

CBSE Junior Assistant Educational Qualification
Before applying for the post, applicants must check if they satisfy the eligibility of CBSE Junior Asst. exam. The educational qualifications needed for this post are mentioned below:
- 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- For the skill test, typing speed of 35 w.p.m. or equivalent speed of 10500 KDPH in English or 30 w.p.m. or equivalent speed of 9000 KDPH in Hindi on Computer.

- Candidates having 50% & above marks with a post-graduate diploma in Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ ’O’ level certificate from DOEACC.
