WBSSC Clerk Syllabus 2025

WBSSC Clerk Exam Pattern 2025

As per the WBSSC Clerk exam pattern, there shall be three rounds, written examination, professional qualification, and personality test. Candidates who qualify all the levels of the exam shall be considered to get a name in the WBSSC Clerk result. 

Written Exam 

• The WBSSC Clerk exam is going to be conducted in the offline mode. 
• The examination will have questions from four subjects namely, General Knowledge, General English, Current Affairs, and Arithmetic. 
• As per the marking scheme, the candidate will be granted one mark for each correct answer. Whereas, no negative marks shall be awarded for the wrong answers. 
• The questions in the examination will be objective in nature. 

Professional Qualification

This round is going to be conducted for 10 marks and will be conducted to test the academic qualification including professional qualifications of the candidate. 

Personality Test 

The candidates who clear the WBSSC Clerk cut-off marks will be asked to appear in the personality test. The exam will have 30 marks out of which the personality test will be of 05 marks whereas the typing test is going to be of 25 marks. The test is going to have a typing test wherein the candidate’s efficiency in using the computer shall be tested.
