A & B இன் தற்போதைய வயதுக்கு இடையிலான விகிதம் 5: 4 ஆகும்
⇒ A மற்றும் B வயது முறையே 5x மற்றும் 4x என எடுத்துகொள்வோம்
இப்போது, 3 வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு A இன் வயது 4 வருடங்களுக்கு பின் இருக்கும் B இன் வயதை விட 2 ஆண்டுகள் அதிகம்
(5x - 3) = (4x + 4) + 2
⇒ x = 9
