⇒ 2y - 2x = 5 - 1
⇒ 2(y - x) = 4
⇒ y - x = 2 ----(1)
आणि, 2y - 6 = x + 3
⇒ 2y - x = 3 + 6
⇒ 2y - x = 9 ----(2)
समीकरण (2) मधून समीकरण (1) वजा केल्यास
2y - x - y + x = 9 - 2
⇒ y = 7
समीकरण (1) वरून,
x = 5
समांतरभुज चौकोनाची बाजू = 2x + 5 = 2 × 5 + 5 = 15
आणि, x + 3 = 5 + 3 = 8
∴ समांतरभुज चौकोनाची बाजू 15 एकक आणि 8 एकक आहेत
