The Punjab Police Constable Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2025 is released by the Punjab Police Department along with official notification on 12th February, 2025. 12th Pass candidates can apply for this upcoming Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025, which consists of three stages of the selection process – Computer Based Test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST), and Document Verification. As per the official exam pattern, the CBT will consist of two papers – Paper I, a 100-mark test covering subjects like General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Ability, Language Skills (English and Punjabi), and Digital Literacy; and Paper II, a 50-mark qualifying Punjabi language test.
- The Punjab Police Constable Syllabus is divided into subjects namely – General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Ability, Language Skills (English and Punjabi), and Digital Literacy & Awareness.
- As per the official exam pattern, there will be two papers in the CBT exam – Paper 1 and Paper 2, where Paper 2 is a qualifying test of English & Punjabi language proficiency.
- There is no negative marking in the Punjab Police Constable CBT.
- There will be a total of 150 questions in the CBT comprising 150 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours for Paper 1 and 60 minutes for Paper 2.
- Candidates who get shortlisted in the CBT will be called to appear for a Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
