NVS Stenographer Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates should follow the NVS Stenographer Exam Pattern to get a clear understanding of the structure of the question paper. The detailed exam pattern of both the NVS Stenographer selection stages is specified below:

Stage I: Computer Based Test

• The computer-based test will be bilingual i.e Hindi & English language
• There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. 1/4th marks will be deducted as a penalty for every wrong answer.

Stage II: Skill Test/Typing Test

The Skill Test/Typing Test will be assessed on the Personal Computer only. The exam pattern for this round is as follows:

• Dictation: 10 mts@ 80 w.p.m.
• Transcription: 50 mts (Eng.) 65 mts (Hindi) (On computer)
