The University Grants Commission has given the authority to the National Testing Agency to administer the National Eligibility Test i.e. the NTA UGC NET examination. UGC NET Nepali Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of the UGC NET exam pattern along with the UGC NET Nepali syllabus. There are 2 papers in the examination- Paper 1 (General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude) and Paper 2 (Nepali). A total of 150 questions will be asked in the examination and each of the questions will carry 2 marks. The exam will be conducted in online mode (computer based test). There will be no break between the two papers.

UGC NET Nepali Marks Distribution
In the UGC NET Nepali examination, only multiple choice questions will be asked. General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude (Paper I) will have 50 MCQs and Nepali (Paper II) will have 100 MCQs. All the questions irrespective of the paper will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers and zero marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.
