Properties of LC immittance function

1. LC immittance function is always the ratio of odd to even or even to odd polynomial.

2. The poles & zeroes are simple there are no multiple poles or zeroes either at origin or at infinity or at any point.

3. The poles & zeroes are located on jω axis only.

4. The poles and zeroes are alternate on jω axis.

5. Imaginary poles & zeroes occur in the form of complex conjugate pairs.

6. The highest power of numerator & denominator must differ by unity.

7. The lowest power of numerator & denominator must differ by unity.

8. There must be either a pole or zero at origin & infinity.
