Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
The sides of a triangle are in the ratio \(1 \over3\) ∶ \(1 \over5\) ∶ \(1 \over6\).
Calculation:
LCM of 3, 5, 6 of 30
So, the ratio of sides = 30 × \(1 \over3\) : 30 × \(1 \over5\) : 30 × \(1 \over6\)
⇒ 10 : 6 : 5
So, 10 + 6 + 5 = 147
⇒ 21 = 147
⇒ 1 = 7
So, smallest side = 5 × 7
⇒ 35
∴ The length of the smallest side is 35 cm.
