Download Solution PDFThe Right to Education Act commonly known as RTE Act 2009 is an act which aims to provide free and compulsory education to all children between the age of 6 to 14 years in India under the Article 21A of the Indian Constitution. While children with special abilities were offered free eduction from 6 to 18 years. RTE 2009 states that under sub-section (1) of section 23 a teacher shall perform the following activities:
- Maintain regularity and punctuality in attending school.
- Conduct and complete the entire curriculum within the specified time.
- Assess the learning ability of each child and accordingly supplement the additional instructions.
