Let the original price per kg be ₹x.

Reduced price per kg = x - 0.24x = 0.76x

Quantity bought at original price = 2500/x

Quantity bought at reduced price = 2500/0.76x

According to the question:

2500/0.76x - 2500/x = 10

Calculations:

2500/0.76x - 2500/x = 10

⇒ 2500 (1/0.76x - 1/x) = 10

⇒ 2500 (x - 0.76x)/(0.76x²) = 10

⇒ 600/0.76x = 10
