यदि A और B कोटि n के वर्ग आव्यूह हैं तो det (m × AB) = mn × det (A) × det (B) जहाँ m ∈ R एक अदिश है।

गणना:

दिया हुआ: A और B det A = 4 और det B = 3 के साथ (3 × 3) आव्यूह हैं

जैसा कि हम जानते हैं कि, यदि A और B कोटि n के वर्ग आव्यूह हैं तो det (m × AB) = mn × det (A) × det (B) जहाँ m ∈ R एक अदिश है।
