Using the LCM method,
The LCM of 16, 24 and 36 = 144(total work)
A's efficiency = 144/16
⇒ 9
B's efficiency = 144/24
⇒ 6
C's efficiency = 144/36
⇒ 4
Time = Total work / Total efficiency
Time = 144 / ( 9 + 6 + 4)
Time = 144 / 19
Time = 7 (11/19)
They complete the job if they work together in 7 (11/19) days.
