Bihar Public Service Commission has released the details of the BPSC Assistant Professor Selection Process in its latest notification. Knowing the selection process before applying for the exam should be a priority. As per the notification, there are four stages in this BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment drive. A total of 26 marks will be distributed amongst these four stages. BPSC will declare the results on its website once these stages are concluded. Now that the notification is out, you should start your preparations today. But first, learn about the selection process for BPSC Assistant Professor. The Commission will recruit candidates as per their score in four stages namely written exam, academics, interview, and work experience. BPSC Assistant Professor Stage I - Academic Records
The first stage in the selection process is the evaluation of the candidate’s academic records. BPSC will invite each successfully registered candidate for this stage. A panel/committee will assess the academic performance of the candidate and will assign a score out of 10 marks.

BPSC Assistant Professor Stage II - Written Examination
Bihar Public Service Commission will conduct a written examination for all the registered candidates in 2024. You have to study as per the BPSC Assistant Professor Syllabus to score good marks in this stage. Here is the overview of the exam pattern for this written exam.

BPSC Assistant Professor Stage III - Interview
Once the written exam for each registered candidate is completed, the BPSC will arrange interviews for them. In this stage, a personal interview will be taken by the panel selected by the State Commission. As per your performance, a score out of 15 marks will be assigned. BPSC Assistant Professor Stage IV - Experience
The State Commission of Bihar will conclude the selection process in this stage. If you are working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science & Technology, marks will be given. For every 1 year in this position, 5 marks will be assigned to your tally with a cap of 25 marks for this stage. After the completion of this stage, the commission will declare the BPSC Assistant Professor Results on its website. BPSC will also publish the merit list on its official website as per these four stages. Candidates will be recruited for the post of Assistant Professor as per their rank in the merit list.
