The Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology conducts the OUAT entrance exam every year and thus releases the OUAT exam syllabus. The OUAT is an entrance exam that provides admission to candidates for various colleges affiliated with the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. The candidates interested in applying for any of the courses offered by the University must sit for the written exam. If he/she clears the same, he/she will be eligible for admission.

The candidates will be asked questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. All the sections hold almost the same weightage. Candidates have to attempt any one of the Mathematics or Biology sections.

OUAT 2022 Preparation Strategy
The candidates must have a clear preparation plan to clear the OUAT exam. The preparation strategies differ from person to person. However, some basic tips remain the same. The candidates can refer to the following tips to make the best of their preparation.
- Build up the basics. The basics will serve as the foundation for topics that might end up coming in the exam.
- Know the Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Knowing the syllabus and exam pattern clears half of your exam since you know which topics to concentrate on.
- Each subject is equally important. Do not miss out on even one of the subjects.
- Choose the optional subject carefully. The optional subject should be chosen based on one's knowledge as well as which course to pursue.

- Previous years' papers. Previous years’ papers help in judging the type of questions asked in the exam.
