Step 2: Under the Advertisements section, click on the link to apply for HPSC ADO Recruitment.

HPSC ADO Application Fee 

The candidates who will be submitting the application form for the HPSC Agriculture Development Officer Recruitment will also have to pay an application fee. The details of the application fee are as follows.

HPSC Agriculture Development Officer Eligibility Criteria 

All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria specified by the commission in order to avoid disqualification of their application.  Check the eligibility criteria as given below in detail.

HPSC ADO Age Criteria 

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years

Age Relaxations

Age relaxation will be given to certain categories of candidates as follows;

HPSC ADO Educational Qualification Criteria

• B.Sc(Honours) or B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering from any recognized university.
• Sanskrit or Hindi up to Matriculation or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HPSC ADO Nationality Criteria

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply, or,
• a subject of Nepal, or,
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

HPSC ADO Selection Process 

The selection process for the post of HPSC ADO will comprise an interview. However, in case of a large number of applications received for the post, the Commission will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview. The shortlisting criteria may include one or more of the following:

• On the basis of the percentage of marks of the candidates in the minimum educational qualification prescribed
• On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in different educational qualifications, with weightage as decided by the Commission
• On the basis of desirable qualifications or any one or all of the desirable qualifications if more than one desirable qualification is prescribed.
• On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum/essential prescribed in the advertisement.
• On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
• By counting experience before minimum/essential qualifications
• By holding a Recruitment Test.

HPSC ADO Exam Pattern 

The exam pattern for the HPSC ADO is mentioned below for advt no 12/2022 and14/2022:

• The exam will be MCQs based.
• A total of 100 questions will be asked.
• Each question will have 1 mark so 100 marks will be allotted to the complete paper.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.
• The weightage of the written exam will be 87.5% in the final selection and the rest weightage is given to the interview.
