The Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) recruits for the BPSSC Forest Range Officer Selection Process along with BPSSC Forest Range Officer Recruitment 2025. The notification will be released with an ongoing application process. Candidates who are interested to apply should be acknowledged with the selection process details. The BPSSC Selection process primarily comprises three stages that are a written test interview, and PET. Candidates need to clear the written test of 400 marks to get selected for the next round that is interview. The third level will be the Physical Endurance Test (PET) where every candidate will be checked to meet the fixed physical parameters set as per the board. If any candidate fails to pass the criteria then her/his candidature will be rejected by the board. The candidate has to make sure that they clear all the stages to get finally placed. BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2023 Selection Process

There will be a three tier procedure for the candidates to be selected which includes

BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2025 Written Examination
The written examination will be conducted in two sets where Paper 1 will include questions on General Hindi and Paper 2 will include questions on General Studies. After clearing the written examination, the candidates will be selected for the other two tiers. Read below to know about the written examination and selection processes of the written examination in detail.

- Paper 1 includes 50 questions of 2 marks each and a negative marking of 0.2 marks for every wrong answer.
- Paper 2 includes questions from General studies and each question carries 3 marks and negative marking of 0.3 marks for every wrong answer.
- Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are objective type papers, so candidates have to make sure that they prepare well in order to clear the first stage.
Note- The marks obtained in this paper will not be included in the merit list. In this paper, the candidates need to score a minimum of 30% marks to clear this paper.

BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2025 - Interview
The next level after the written examinations will be the Interview which will be of 50 marks. The candidates will be selected or called upon for an interview only after they clear the Tier 1 written examination. Here the candidates will be tested on their knowledge regarding current affairs and their confidence. After the completion of the Interview round, they will be selected for the next round which is BPSSC Forest Ranger PET 2025

BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2025 - Physical Endurance Test
The third level will be the Physical Endurance Test (PET) where every candidate will be checked to meet the fixed physical parameters set as per the board. Check the below-attached table for the category and gender-wise parameters set.

Note:
- The measurement of chest size is only set for males and NOT for females.
- The chest size should differ by at least 5cm after expansion and contraction.
A walk test will also be included in the Physical Test Round. The details are given below.
- Male candidates will have to walk 25 Kms for 4 Hours.
- Female candidates will have to walk 14Kms in 4 Hours.
