BITSAT Marking Scheme 2025

The below-mentioned marking scheme is followed in the BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025.

Three marks are allotted for every correct answer
1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer
No marks are allotted for not attempting a question.
A total of 180 minutes is given
BITSAT 2022 exam was held online mode. It is expected to be the same for BITSAT Exam 2025. The questions will be objective type (MCQs)
As per the BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025, there are a total of 130 questions from four sections.
There will be 30 questions each from Physics and Chemistry.

BITSAT 2025 Syllabus Highlights

Subjects	Description
Mathematics	Consists of 11 topics. This section is moderate to difficult on the exam's difficulty level scale.
Biology	Includes ten chapters from the CBSE syllabus of both classes 11 and 12. In the Biology section, the topics from Class 11 hold more weight than those of class 12. We infer that the maximum questions come from principles of inheritance and variation followed by the molecular basis of inheritance and morphology of flowering plants.
Chemistry	Consists of 13 major topics that dominate the section with most of the questions. The maximum questions from chemical bonding and molecular structure are asked, followed by equilibrium and hydrocarbons.
Physics	Comprises 18 topics. Many aspirants consider this section one of the most challenging thresholds in the BITSAT exam. Most questions are about Current Electricity, Semiconductors and laws of motion.
English & Logical Reasoning	This section is subdivided into two more sections- English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. This section consists of 15 questions on English Proficiency and ten questions on Logical Reasoning.

->The BITSAT 2025 session 2 slot booking is now open from June 16 to 17, 2025. The exam will be held from June 22 to June 26, so candidates can book their slots now.
