Superposition Theorem

It states that in any linear, bilateral network where more than one source is present, the response across any element in the circuit is the sum of the responses obtained from each source considered separately.

Vo = V1 (due to 4 A) + V2 (due to 10 V)

Case 1: When 4 A is active

The voltage source (10 V) will be short-circuited.
