Base diameter of cylinder (d) = 60 cm

Height of cylinder (h) = 10 cm

Formula used:

Lateral Surface Area (LSA) = 2πrh

Total Surface Area (TSA) = 2πrh + 2πr2

Calculation:

Radius (r) = d/2 = 60/2 = 30 cm

LSA = 2πrh = 2×π×30×10 = 600π cm2

TSA = 2πrh + 2πr2 = 2×π×30×10 + 2×π×302 = 600π + 1800π = 2400π cm2

Ratio (LSA : TSA) = 600π : 2400π
