Concept:

The speed of any object which is travelling some amount of distance is given as : \(v=\frac{distance}{time}\)

So, the time is : \(t=\frac dv\)

Explanation:

  • The distance between the point AB, BC, CD and DE is equal. 
  • So, the time spend by the car in a particular region depends on the speed with which it is traveling in that particular region.
  • As, time is inversely proportional to the speed. The less is the speed, the more is the time spent and the probability of finding the car increases in that particular region.
  • From the graph it canbe concluded that the speed is lowest in the AB region. Hence the probability of finding the car in AB region is the highest.
