•  It is a professional programme meant to prepare physical education teachers for senior secondary (classes XI and XII) level as well as assistant professors/ directors/ , sports officers in colleges: universities and teacher educators in colleges of physical education and university departments of physical education. 
• Bachelor of Education in Physical Education (B PE) is normally a graduate level course of 1 year duration whereas Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) is an under graduate course and its duration varies from 1 to 4 years according to the basic qualification of the candidate.
