Following Country G’s decision, which was taken a decade ago to control pollution, Country N has also decided to keep a cap on the number of cars in the country. So, now if someone in Country N wants to buy a car, they will have to wait until someone in the country sells their car or a car is registered as completely non-functional and is scrapped.

Assumptions:

I. The other transport options in Country N are enough to cater to the ‘non-car owning’ population of the country.

II. The decision was most likely successful in Country G in controlling pollution.  

Statement:

Assumptions:

I. The other transport options in Country N are enough to cater to the ‘non-car owning’ population of the country.   True (This is more likely true because If a country adopted a major decision to keep a cap on car. So they must have other transport options in Country N are enough to cater to the ‘non-car owning’ population . Hence  Assumption I can be assumed.) 

II. The decision was most likely successful in Country G in controlling pollution.  True (This is more likely true because the decision is successful in Country G , thereafter Country N has decided to adopt it. Hence  Assumption Ii can be assumed.) 

Hence, Both I and II can be assumed.
