GPAT Nationality Eligibility Criteria

Only Indian Nationals that are Indian citizens by birth are eligible to apply for the GPAT Exam. There is no provision for foreign students wishing to apply through this examination.

Major Changes in GPAT Exam 2025

Students with disabilities may also submit an application for the GPAT. The list of disabilities that NTA accepts for GPAT entrance is available. These comprise:

• Candidates who are blind or have poor vision.
• Applicants who struggle with hearing or are deaf.
• Students with locomotor impairments, such as those with cerebral palsy, leprosy cure, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy, are eligible for the GPAT as of the year 2025.
• The GPAT 2025 is open to applicants with mental illness, autism, intellectual disabilities, and special learning disabilities.
• Candidates with limitations brought on by long-term neurological diseases like multiple sclerosis and parkinsonism.
• Candidates with multiple disabilities.
