- क्षेत्र-प्रभाव ट्रांजिस्टर (FET) एक प्रकार का ट्रांजिस्टर है जो अर्धचालकों में विद्युत प्रवाह को नियंत्रित करने के लिए विद्युत क्षेत्र का उपयोग करता है।
- FET तीन टर्मिनलों: स्रोत, गेट और अपवाहिका वाला उपकरण है। FET गेट पर वोल्टता अनुप्रयोग द्वारा धारा के प्रवाह को नियंत्रित करता है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप अपवाहिका और स्रोत के बीच चालकता परिवर्तित होती है।
- FET में प्राकृतिक रूप दो p-n संधियाँ होती हैं, इसलिए यह एक द्वि-संधि उपकरण है।
