  • Lamps bright synchronization preferred to lamps dark because it gives sharper and more accurate synchronization.
  • Synchronizing bright and is generally preferred because it is found to be easier to determine when a lamp is at full brilliancy than when it is absolutely Dark (current less), for it may be carrying quite a substantial current without reddening the filament. The lamp may even become dark with a considerable difference in voltage.
