Here, jumps will be either for the A or the B.
speed = Distance/ time
∴ speed ∝ distance
Calculations:
7 jumps of A→ 5 jumps of B
8 jumps of the A → ((5/7) × 8) jumps of the B
= 40/7 jumps of B
∴The required ratio is (40/7) : 6
= 20 : 21
∴ The ratio of the speed of A and B is 20 : 21.
