Rath Yatra 2025 Traffic Advisory: Puri Police on Wednesday issued a comprehensive traffic advisory ahead of the Rath Yatra celebrations on June 27, 2025. Preparations are in full swing as a large number of devotees are expected to join the grand procession in Puri, Odisha. The advisory outlines several traffic restrictions and diversions to avoid to ensure smooth traffic flow during the significant event. According to the advisory, restrictions will be in place for different types of vehicles approaching from three separate directions to avoid traffic congestion.
Brahmagiri Side (Four Wheelers)
- Light Motor Vehicles coming from Brahmagiri side can park their vehicles at Sterling side via Mangalaghat and Sterling Chhaka.
- LMV drivers can park their vehicles sequentially at Sterling Chhaka road side, Sterling Chhaka Right side, Sterling Chhaka Left side parking places and Saha College Parking.
Bhubaneshwar Side (Four Wheelers)
- Light Motor Vehicles approaching from the Bhubaneswar side will be allowed up to parking places at the Talabania side via Malatipatapur ROB, Baidas Nagar, and Grid Station.
- LMV can park their vehicles in order at OLA guest House, Helipad, ITI College parking, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture field Parking, and Hygienic Fish Market.
- Note: After the parking places are filled at the Talabania side, LMVs will be diverted towards the Sterling side Parking Places via Malatipatapur – Batagaon – Mangalaghat, and Sterling.
Konark Side (Four Wheelers)
- Light Motor Vehicles heading from the Konark side can park their vehicles at these available spaces: Talabania side via Balighai, Baidas Nagar, and Grid Station.
- Parking available at OLA guest House, Helipad, ITI College parking, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture field Parking, and Hygienic Fish Market.
Shuttle Service (Three Wheelers)
- Three wheelers coming from Talabania will be diverted ti Ghoda Bazar via Water Works Road, Odisha Bakery, and Ram Mandir. After dropping the passengers, they will return via Ram Mandir, Shreekhestra Colony & Mangala Mandir to Talabania.
- From Malatipatpur side, three wheelers will be allowed up to Atharanala via Batagaon Chhaka. After dropping off the passengers, they will return via the same route.
- From the Brahmagiri side, vehicles will be allowed up to Sterling via Mangalaghat. After dropping off the passengers, they will return via the same route.
