IMD Weather LIVE Updates: India will witness a significant change in weather conditions over the next few days, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rainfall over several states. While Northeast India will continue to experience light downpour, the other parts – East, Central, Northwest, and South Peninsular India- will see varied conditions with intense scattered rain. Hot & humid weather is likely to prevail over Odisha during 7th- 10th; Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Tamilnadu Puducherry & Karaikal on 7th and 8th June.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue across most or many areas of Northeast India over the next 7 days, with isolated heavy rainfall likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya from June 9th to 12th. Tripura is expected to experience rainfall on the 7th, while Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may see rainfall from June 9th to 11th.
Light/moderate rainfall is likely at many/some places over Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Karnataka during the next 7 days. Heat wave conditions are expected to persist over West Rajasthan from June 8th to 10th, and over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, southern Uttar Pradesh, and northern Madhya Pradesh on June 9th and 10th.
