The results are now available on the official websites ugcnet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.

As a part of the result announcement, NTA has also released the final answer key of UGC NET June 2023.

Earlier, UGC Chief had informed the candidates that the result would be released on 26th or 27th July. However, to the surprise of many, the results were declared a day earlier on 25th July. Candidates can check their results by logging in and entering their personal details on the official website.

The process to check the UGC NET 2023 Result is simple:

  1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Scroll down on the home page and find the link ‘UGC NET June 2023 Result.’
  3. Log in using the required details as asked on the portal.
  4. The UGC NET Result will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Candidates can check their scores, download the result, and take a printout for future reference.

The UGC NET June exam was conducted for 83 subjects in 181 cities across India. The exam witnessed the participation of a significant number of candidates, with a total of 6,39,069 aspirants being eligible to appear for the exam. The examination took place in two phases, from June 13th to 17th and June 19th to 22nd, 2023.

To qualify for UGC NET 2023, applicants from the unreserved category need to secure a minimum of 40 percent marks, while applicants from the reserved category are required to score at least 35 percent. Additionally, candidates must obtain a passing grade in each paper individually and in aggregate to be eligible for the NET certificate.

The UGC NET is a highly competitive examination that enables candidates to qualify for the role of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges. With the results now declared, successful candidates can proceed to pursue their academic and research careers, contributing to the development of the nation’s education and knowledge dissemination.
